Joe Anne Shumaker

Joe Ann Curl Shumaker, 85, of Annapolis, MD passed away on June 16, 2024.

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and wife. Joe Anne had so many things she cared about in life, but her family and loving husband were first and foremost. She also adored her dachshunds, and Elvis.

Joe Anne led a full rich life, surrounded by love from family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but always in the hearts of those she touched.

Joe Anne is proceeded in death by her parents Roy and Helen Curl, her Loving Husband, James B. Shumaker, her brothers, Roy (Butch) Curl Jr, and Richard Curl, Sister in Law Patricia Curl, and, Great Niece Courtney Curl.

She’s survived by her sister and brother in law Donna and Daniel Grisso. Her nephews Richard Curl Jr and Daniel Grisso Jr. Her nieces Patrice Sweeney and Tiffany Khan, as well as their spouses, along with many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754 on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
