Joseph Redila Saculles, Sr.

Joseph R. Saculles often called Joe, and Papa died peacefully in his sleep on November 18th, 2022 at the age of 94 in his home in Camp Springs, MD. Joseph had a 20 year career in the Army and at Housing Urban Development in D.C. He had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling the world, dancing, and especially trying new restaurants. A connoisseur of fried chicken. He is survived by his children Gladys Saculles, Joseph Saculles Jr (Sonya)., Myrna Saculles, James Saculles (Nam), and John Saculles, his 6 grandchildren: Ashley, Jordan, Austin, Stephanie, Ryan, and Christopher, and his 5 great grandchildren: Caiden, Brynn, Allie, Bennett, and Colton.  

In lieu of flowers please make donations to VFW or wounded warriors.

Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
