Joyce Marie Mack

Joyce M. Mack, 87, passed into the loving arms of Jesus with her sister and niece by her side on January 29, 2026.

Joyce’s nurturing spirit, unwavering love and kindness she shared with everyone that knew her will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. We will all cherish the many ways she made everyone feel loved and valued and will continue to inspire and comfort those she left behind. Her bright star will continue to live inside us all that were blessed to know her.

Joyce was born in Walton, NY on July 6, 1938. She graduated from Walton Central School in 1956.

Joyce married Richard Mack in 1959 and shared several years together before his passing. They made their final home in Cheltenham, MD. Joyce worked several years in the offices of AT&T.

Joyce was the daughter to Earl Jenkins and Esther (Henderson) Jenkins. Joyce was the sister to Earline Gray of Walton, Sandra Gray of Walton and Gail Furgason of Unadilla. Joyce was sister in law to Patricia Pardue and Wanita Ebell. Brother in laws, Jack Mack, William Mack, Clair Gray and James Gray.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Richard Mack, Parents, Earl and Esther Jenkins; Sisters, Earline Gray and Sandra Gray, Brother in laws, William Mack, Clair Gray and James Gray.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Gail Furgason, several nieces and nephews and great friends and neighbors.

Joyce attended Cheltenham United Methodist Church in Cheltenham, MD. Joyce enjoyed singing at her church and for family and friends. She had a mean yodel and we loved to listen to her. Joyce is now reunited with her loved ones and her beloved dog, Honey Bear.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date in 2026 in Cheltenham, MD. Further details will be announced as the date approaches.
