Mrs. Judith Ann "Judy" Hack, née Cloud, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 surrounded by her family, in Clinton, Maryland, at the age of 83.
Born on September 26, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, Judy lived a full and vibrant life marked by deep devotion to her family and a joyful embrace of life’s simple pleasures. She was the beloved wife of Richard Hack, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage—a partnership built on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Judy was a proud and loving mother to four children: Richard Jr., who shares his life with his wife Yolanda; Kimberley and her husband Walter; Catherine and her husband Matthew; and Bruce. Her role as a mother was one she cherished deeply, nurturing her children with warmth and guidance throughout their lives. Her joy expanded even further as a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren: Ashley and her husband Jason, Patrick, Erick, Ava, Eli, and Abram.
Judy took immense pride in attending their life events and fun activities—whether it was cheering from the sidelines or celebrating milestones with her signature baked treats. Her presence was a constant source of encouragement and love in their lives.
Judy had a zest for life that shone through in everything she did. She loved to travel and explore new places with family and friends. Her passion for baking brought comfort and joy to many—her kitchen was often filled with the sweet aroma of homemade delights. A spirited square dancer, Judy found great happiness in music and movement, often sharing laughter- filled evenings on the dance floor.
Her legacy is one of love—steadfast love for her husband Richard; nurturing love for her children; joyful love for her grandchildren; and generous love for all those fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire warmth, kindness, and joy in the hearts she touched.
