Judith Kenney

Judith Rachel Kenney (Judy), 83, of Clinton, Maryland passed peacefully with her loving son by her side Friday, December 26, 2025. Judy was born in Washington D.C. to the late Stephen and Rachel June Barnes March 7, 1942. She spent her childhood in Washington D.C. and Suitland, Maryland before marriage to Paul Anthony Kenney, having two children Warren Anthony “Andy” and Michael Raymond Kenney. 

Most of her career was working downtown as executive legal secretary before retiring to start her own business Kenney & Company Employment Agency in Clinton, Maryland. She enjoyed boating, spending time at their second home in Palm Bay, Florida and being with family and friends. 

Judy is reunited in eternal peace with her husband of over 50 years “Anthony” May 31, 2011, son “Andy” Dec. 10, 2005, and brother Joseph Barnes, Dec. 2, 2024. She is survived by her son Michael (Cathy) Kenney, two grandchildren Amanda and Justin Kenney, two great grandchildren Andy and Michael Halsey, and sister Stephanie Phieffer (Robert). 

Judy was a courageous survivor of breast cancer. She was later diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2019 and losing her hard-fought battle a day after Christmas. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and will be missed by all who loved her.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, MD, Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 10am with funeral services beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
