Laverne Teresa McCorkle

Laverne Teresa Smith McCorkle, age 85, formally of Cumberland, Maryland, transitioned peacefully on April 15, 2021. Born on January 6, 1936 to her late parents: James Smith and Addie (Hicks) Smith. Laverne leaves to cherish her memory five children; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Shirley Wheaton.
