Con profunda tristeza, pero también con inmensa gratitud por una vida hermosa y plena, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Maria Teresa Perez Ortega, quien partió en paz el 31 de agosto de 2026, después de una breve enfermedad.

Maria Teresa nació el 28 de septiembre de 1946 en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, hija de Maria Albertina Brea de Perez y Jose Joaquín Perez. A lo largo de su vida llevó siempre consigo el calor, las tradiciones, la música, la fe y los profundos valores familiares de su querida herencia dominicana.

Fue una querida hermana de Maria Cristina y Marco Antonio, con quienes compartió el vínculo especial de la familia y los recuerdos de sus primeros años juntos. El amor que compartió con sus padres y hermanos permaneció siempre como una parte importante de quien fue, y esos valores de amor, unión y familia los transmitió a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos.

Maria Teresa fue una esposa amorosa y dedicada de su esposo, Francisco Javier Ortega, con quien compartió una vida construida sobre el amor, la familia, el compromiso y la entrega.

Por encima de todo, fue una madre querida y dedicada de sus siete hijos: Rosa Angelica, Ingrid Elizabeth, Francisco Javier, Carlos Jose, Miosotis Licelot, Ana Teresa (Karina) y Nathali Arabelis.

Su familia fue el mayor amor y la mayor pasión de su vida. Como madre y ama de casa, se dedicó de todo corazón a su esposo y a sus hijos, creando un hogar lleno de amor, cuidado, sacrificio y recuerdos inolvidables.

El amor de Maria Teresa continuó creciendo a través de las generaciones. Fue una amorosa abuela de Chanel Madelyn, Francisco Javier (Junior), Jose Joaquín, Jose Moisés, Isi Meidelyn, Abdiel Nicolas, Omar Benjamin y Suzette Licelot, Albert Nathan y una querida bisabuela de Noah Judah, Adeline Mariette, Josmeiry Yamel y Kailany Raizel.

Maria Teresa encontraba alegría en las cosas sencillas y hermosas de la vida. Le encantaba tejer y coser, creando con sus manos con paciencia, creatividad y amor. También disfrutaba de la música dominicana, que la mantenía conectada con la cultura y la tierra que siempre llevó con orgullo en su corazón.

Pero de todas las cosas que amaba, nada se comparaba con su familia. Su mayor felicidad era ver a sus seres queridos juntos, compartir sus vidas, celebrar los momentos importantes y crear recuerdos. Fue una fuente de amor, fortaleza, consuelo y sabiduría, y su hogar fue siempre un lugar donde la familia era amada y valorada.

Sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos recordarán no solo las hermosas cosas que creó con sus manos, sino también el amor que tejió en cada uno de sus corazones y en sus vidas. Su bondad, sus sacrificios, sus tradiciones, sus risas y su amor incondicional continuarán viviendo a través de cada generación que le sigue.

Aunque su partida deja un vacío inmenso e imposible de medir en los corazones de quienes la amaron, encontramos consuelo al saber que su vida estuvo llena de amor y que su hermoso legado permanecerá para siempre a través de su familia.

Maria Teresa pudo partir de este mundo en paz, pero jamás partirá de los corazones de quienes la aman.

Que Dios la reciba en Su abrazo eterno, le conceda la paz y el descanso eterno, y permita que Su luz perpetua brille sobre ella.

It is with profound sadness, but also with deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Maria Teresa Perez Ortega on August 31, 2026, following a brief illness.

Maria Teresa was born on September 28, 1946 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to her loving parents, Maria Albertina Brea de Perez and Jose Joaquín Perez. She carried with her throughout her life the warmth, traditions, music, faith, and deep family values of her cherished Dominican heritage.

She was a beloved sister to Maria Cristina and Marco Antonio, with whom she shared the special bond of family and the memories of their early years together. The love she shared with her parents and siblings remained an important part of who she was as she passed these values she passed on to her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren..

Maria Teresa was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Francisco Javier Ortega, with whom she shared a life built on love, family, commitment, and devotion.

Above all else, she was a cherished mother to her seven children, Rosa Angelica, Ingrid Elizabeth, Francisco Javier, Carlos Jose, Miosotis Licelot, Ana Teresa (Karina), and Nathali Arabelis.

Her family was the greatest love and passion of her life. As a mother and homemaker, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her husband and children, creating a home filled with love, care, sacrifice, and cherished memories.

Maria Teresa’s love continued to grow through the generations. She was a loving grandmother to Chanel Madelyn, Francisco Javier (Junior), Jose Joaquín, Jose Moisés, Isi Meidelyn, Abdiel Nicolas, Omar Benjamin, Suzette Licelot, Albert Nathan and a beloved great-grandmother to Noah Judah, Adeline Mariette, Josmeiry Yamel, and Kailany Raizel.

Maria Teresa found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved knitting and sewing, creating things with her hands with patience, creativity, and love. She also enjoyed Dominican music, which kept her connected to the culture and homeland she carried proudly in her heart.

But of all the things she loved, nothing compared to her family. Her greatest happiness was seeing her loved ones together, sharing their lives, celebrating milestones, and making memories. She was a source of love, strength, comfort, and wisdom, and her home was a place where family was always treasured.

Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will remember not only the beautiful things she created with her hands, but also the love she stitched into the fabric of their lives. Her kindness, sacrifices, traditions, laughter, and unconditional love will continue through every generation that follows.

Although her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, we find comfort in knowing that her life was filled with love and that her beautiful legacy will live on through her family.

Maria Teresa may have left this world peacefully, but she will never leave the hearts of those who love her.
