Marion A. Arhar, of Dunkirk, MD left on November 3, 2022 to tend to a new garden, with the angels.
Born in Cambria, PA daughter of Anna (Dobrasky) Minor and John L. Minor. Marion just celebrated her 90th birthday in September.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest John Arhar; Loving mother of Edward Arhar and his wife Penillipe Arhar, Mark Arhar and his wife Maryanne Arhar and John Arhar; dear grandmother of Christopher, Caitlyn and Michelle Arhar; Devoted sister of Bernardine Hlivyak, and Bernard Minor and his wife Rosalie Minor; Aunt of Rosemary, Jim, John, Joe and Ed Minor; also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her Stepmother, Mary Minor.
Marion worked on Joint Base Andrews, where she helped with administrative tasks concerning the enlisted. During her later years, Marion worked at the Census Bureau.
Marion’s sanctuary was her garden. She spent countless hours tending to her plants, getting her hands dirty, and thinking of innovative ways in which to entice the birds. She could walk one through her garden, naming each and every one of the plants and flowers. Another notable love would be her fur baby, Lucky who never left her side.
