Mary Rebecca Hungerford

Mary Hungerford of Calvert, Maryland, died suddenly on August 26, 2024, in Calvert, MD. She was born on December 31, 1959, to George Hungerford Sr and Myrtle V. Perfitt in Calvert, Maryland. 

Mary attended school in Brooms Island, MD. Mary loved her cats. Some would say that they were her children (Lucky and Pocket). She loved to cook, especially for her Dad, Robert Perfitt. Mary also loved to crochet, crossword puzzles and crabs. One of Mary’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Everyone loved Mary. She was kind, genuine, joyful soul that would brighten up your day and any room she entered. 

Mary is survived by her Dad, Robert Perfitt, sister Virginia Cross and Bonnie Hungerford, Brother William Perfitt, Nieces and Nephews Angela Fitzhugh, Amanda Henderson, Jason Cross, Alicia Hungerford, Ashley Perfitt, Jeremy Perfitt and Jessica Perfitt and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Hungerford.
