MaryAnn Kimberland of Prince Frederick, Maryland (formerly of Eighty-Four, Pennsylvania) passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025. She spent her final days surrounded by her family whom she adored. Born on October 13, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Julius and Julia Burcz, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.
MaryAnn was a registered nurse in McMurray, Pennsylvania before retiring. In retirement, she loved cooking and baking, reading, crossword puzzles and talking with friends and family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie Bruening (Darren), Michelle Perlish (Rob) and Mary Wilkinson (Paul) and her grandchildren, Andrew Bruening (Kory), Thomas Bruening, Lauren Perlish, Christopher Perlish, Adam Wilkinson and Abby Wilkinson. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed time with them whether it was playing games with them, watching their various sporting events and concerts over the years, or just talking with them.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate MaryAnn’s life during visitation on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10 am-noon, with a memorial service immediately following. Both visitation and the memorial service will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Owings, Maryland. Burial and a small service will be held at Oak Spring Cemetery in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania at a date to be determined.
