Melvin Fountain, Jr.

Melvin Fountain Jr., was born on August 17, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, youngest of six children born to the union of Melvin Sr. and Emma E. Fountain. He peacefully departed this life and entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the age of 73. He enjoyed delicious meals, vintage cars, sports and playing cards. His favorite pass time was riding his electric bikes throughout the beautiful terrain of Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Fountain Sr., his mother, Emma Fountain, and a beloved aunt Helen Peters. He is survived by his sisters, Juanita (Emerson) Smith, Jeraldine (William) Johnson, and Malinda (Wendell) Cross. He is also survived by a host of family members and friends. He will be truly missed.
