Norman Joseph Slattery

Norman Joseph Slattery, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2023. Norman was born on May 6, 1956, in Washington DC. He resided in Maryland until his early 20’s when he moved to Manassas, Virginia.

Norman was a talented carpenter and decided to start his own business “N&S Home Improvements” while living in Virginia. Norman always had a love and passion for music and anything with a motor. Parties at Norman's house always came with live music in the garage and a car show outside! Never a dull moment at “Norman's Garage”!

Norman is survived by his sons Tony and Jason (Michelle). His grandchildren; Alissa and Gavin. Two sisters; Sandy (Bobby) and Kelly. Girlfriend; Sue Lafevre. Nephews and Nieces; Billy, Shannon, and Jenna. Four great nieces and one great nephew.

Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Georgia Slattery, his Mother Connie Slattery, his father William “Boo” Slattery, his Grandfather Bill Powell, and his grandmother Thelma “Mama” Powell.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD, 20735 on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1:30 pm.
