Paulette del Villar

November 23, 1943 — January 23, 2024

Clinton, MD

Ona Paulette Barr del Villar, better known as Paulette, was born to Paul and Frances Barr in November 1943 in Portland, OR.  She grew up in Carthage, NC and attended one year of college in Canada before moving to Washington, DC.  In 1963 she met and married her husband of 58 years Ray and they had two children and one grandson.

Paulette was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and baking.  She was famous for her delicious homemade brownies and carrot cake.  If you were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of one of these amazing treats you know exactly what we are talking about.  She loved the color purple; all things butterflies and her church family.  She was a woman of strong faith.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Nanny.)

She is survived by her two children Becky del Villar Levin (David Levin) and David del Villar, her grandson Reese Levin, two sisters Patricia Barr Gallaher and Priscilla Barr Riley and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, February 16th at Calvert Grace Community Church in Owings, MD at 11am.
