Peggy Ann Pagliocchini

Peggy Ann Pagliocchini, 77, passed away September 9, 2023 at the Calvert Nursing Center after a brief illness.  Peggy was born in Washington, DC to the late Jesse and Helen Smith on August 23, 1946.  She met the love of her life, Joseph Pagliocchini, as a young woman and they married in 1962.  They raised their four children in the Southern MD area.  In addition to being a homemaker, Peggy held many secretarial positions over the course of her career.  She had a life-long love of reading, watching cooking shows and spending time with her siblings, children and grandchildren.  She had a deep love and respect for her parents and cared for them in their later years.  

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Pagliocchini, brother James Smith, son Timothy Pagliocchini, daughter-in-law Laurie Pagliocchini, granddaughter Brittany Palmer, grandson Lucas Jenkins and great-grandson George Jenkins.

She is survived by her brothers Jesse Smith (Cecelia) and Dennis Smith (Diane) and sisters Diana Buck, Frankie Hunt and Christina Irby.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Patrick Pagliocchini Sr, Tina Jenkins (Paul), Kelly Pagliocchini (Anita) and daughter-in-law Jennifer; her grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Kristina, Eddie, Brenda, Patrick Jr, Justin, Angela, Matthew, Melissa, Zachary, Ryan, Joseph, Caleb, Patrick, Phillip, Jeremiah, Noah, Joshua, Brittney, Miranda and Mandi; her great-grandchildren, Justine, Michael, Isaiah, Anjewlee, Alaina, Edison, Jonas, Destiny, Serenity, Makaylie, Parker, Easton, Audree, Angel, Lennox, Zechariah, Zoey, Zahiem, Zara, William, Sophia, Samuel, Cecelia, Mason, Zain and Liliane.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens Cemetery 3270 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD 20676.
