Rafael Antonio Montenegro

Rafael Antonio Montenegro, 68, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on March 29, 2022 in Baltimore, MD. Rafael was born in Honduras and came to America on vacation in 1986. He met the love of his life who soon became his wife. When they first met he told her that he never wanted to leave her side so he never went back to Honduras. He was a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather. He was kind, compassionate and loving. He was adored by anyone that had the chance to get to know him. Rafael always had a positive outlook. He was known to give the best motivational speeches to his family and friends. He was extremely devoted to the Lord. If he was not at home with family you’d likely find him with his church family. One of Rafael’s biggest passions was selling Amway products or Royal Prestige which he could tell you all the positive benefits to owning this product.

Rafael is survived by his lovely wife for over 37 years, Reina Cabrera, his son Alex Cabrera and wife Bonnie with their 2 children Alex, Jr. and Christian Rafael, his son Miguel Cabrera and wife Martha with their 2 sons Logan Antonio and Jaxson. He also has 3 siblings which include 2 younger brothers Roberto Montenegro, Jorge Arturo Montenegro and his sister Elizabeth Montenegro.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
