Richard Wayne Butler

August 9, 1951 — September 2, 2022

On Sept. 2, 2022, Richard (Rick) Butler, 71, passed away quietly at his home in Capital Heights, MD., surrounded by his family. He retired in 2021after working 18 years for the Architect of the Capital in Wash. D.C. He is survived by his wife Joann (Taylor) Butler, his daughter by a previous marriage Amanda (Butler) Lambert, and numerous other relatives. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, MD on 9/12/22 at 10pm. Funeral Services to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
