Ronald C. Smith

Ronald C. Smith, 79, of Clinton, M.D., passed away on April 6, 2026.

Born on February 10, 1947, in Washington, D.C., Ronald was the beloved son of Delores Brown. He lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his country.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army and received several military honors in recognition of his service. Following his time in the military, he built a strong and dependable career, working with D.C. Transit, the National Park Service, and Prince George’s County Public Schools.

He was a devoted husband to Shereese Smith and a loving father to Cassidy Smith and Nicole Green. He was also a proud grandfather to Chloe Smith, who brought him great joy.

Ronald is survived by his siblings Donna Copening, Linda Rhome, and Howard Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Jones.

He will be remembered for his strength, commitment, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
