Ronnie Wade Leech

In Loving Memory of Ronnie Wade Leech Sr. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie Wade Leech Sr., who peacefully departed this life on August 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Ronnie was born on June 10, 1962, in Washington, D.C., to Clara Leech. Ronnie was a highly skilled automotive technician who took immense pride in his craft. Known for his dedication, work ethic, and willingness to help others, he not only solved problems but also served as a mentor to many fellow technicians throughout his career.

Beyond his professional life, Ronnie had a deep passion for martial arts and practiced Taekwondo at one of Jhoon Rhee’s Studios in the Washington, D.C. area before the age of 18. He was also deeply committed to his community, volunteering his time to prepare care packages for the elderly during various holidays and supporting children’s church programs, including AWANA. Ronnie was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. 

He was survived by his loving wife Penny Leech, his children, Glenn Leech and Patrick Leech, their spouses Neal Leech and Renee Leech, and his grandchildren: Darontay, Dai’ron, Nicholas, Sophia, Gabriel, Benjamin, Alexander, Jason and Charlie. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Amoura, and Kalani. He also leaves behind his brother Richard Leech and his wife Sharon, his sister Phyllis, several loving nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will forever remember him. 

Ronnie’s legacy is one of kindness, service, and laughter. His presence touched countless lives, and his spirit will continue to live on through the love he shared with his family, friends, and community. 

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Lee Funeral Home, Inc, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd., Clinton, MD, Saturday September 13, 2025 from 10 am with funeral services beginning at 12 pm. A graveside service will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
