Rose Stephanson

Rose Stephanson of Fort Washington, MD passed away in the early morning of December 22, 2021. She was 96 years old. Born in Washington, DC she was the 6th of 10 children by Mariano and Rachel Adriani. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Charles Stephanson. She is survived by her brothers Dominick and Paul Adriani (Fay); children Michael (Jan), Kathryn, Craig (Joy) and James Stephanson (Janet); grandchildren KayMarie Thomas (Joshua), Anthony Everson, CJ Stephanson, (Bridget), Christopher Alex Stephanson, Katie Rose Stephanson, and Audrey Stephanson; great grandchild Joseph (JoJo) Thomas and many nieces and nephews including Gary Adriani (Susan). The family will receive friends at the Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm where a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery 1 Memorial Avenue Arlington, VA 22211 at a later date.
