Shirley Ann Clark

Shirley Ann Clark peacefully departed her earthly life on September 2, 2026. Shirley was born on May 15, 1940, the eldest of thirteen siblings and raised in Danville, VA to the late Sidney and Florence Carter. As a child, her mother instilled in her the love of attending church and praising and honoring GOD which she in turn instilled those same values within her family. Shirley was baptized and a member serving in the Tribe of Reuben at Union Temple Baptist Church (UTBC) of Washington, DC. She loved wearing her native Afrocentric outfits representing her church tribe, as well as family gatherings or special events. She devoted and lived her life as a Christian. She will be missed dearly.
