Stephen Douglas Diamond, lovingly referred to as Steve and Uncle Steve, age 57, of Huntingtown, MD passed away on August 26, 2026 at his family residence. He was born on July 15, 1969 in Washington, DC. to Brack and Pam Diamond.
Steve graduated from Northern High School in 1987. He was employed at the family business, Diamond Container Corporation, where he served faithfully for over 32 years. His early childhood years were spent in Woodbridge, VA where he and his older brother, Dave, discovered their love for the outdoors and created fond memories playing with his cousins and neighbors.
The Diamond family transitioned to Huntingtown where the adventure continued and grew. Steve’s passion for hunting and fishing took him to many places near and far. From honey hole local ponds, trawling in the Chesapeake, accidentally walking face to face with an elk in Idaho, harvesting a black bear amongst the pines of Ontario, to landing a huge pike in Northern Quebec.
He enjoyed researching and perfecting his craft of being an outdoorsman. He constructed his arrows and loaded his own ammunition. He was delighted to share his interests and knowledge with others. He savored eating those famous Maryland blue crabs while sitting amongst his loved ones. Steve was always willing to lend a helping hand and share his love to those around in many ways.
He is preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, Brack and Pam Diamond, and his older brother David Brack Diamond. He leaves behind his sister-in-law Christina Marie Diamond-Collette and husband Robert William Collette, his nephew Jesse David Diamond and wife Mary Diamond, his grand niece Noelle Jinju Diamond, and niece Elizabeth Pearl Marie Diamond.
He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who he shared meals, tree stands, boat rides, campfires, and stories with.
