Suzanne Louise Baczynski

Suzanne Louise Baczynski (Age 84) went home to the Lord on July 11, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia.  She was a wonderful and sweet wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and Cursillo leader.

Sue had a Master’s of Theology and was a mentor and helped so many people find the Lord.  She was a teacher at different Catholic high schools and then ended her career at Prince George’s Community College as a career counselor.  Sue enjoyed doing family and marriage counseling, golfing, playing cards, and traveling.

Sue was a loving mother to her four children, Robert Baczynski II (Leslie), Patricia Handle (William), Ruthanne Giery (William), and Karen McGee (James); devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Robert III (Kimberly), Christopher (deceased) and Abigail Baczynski; David (Laura), William, Christina & Anthony Handle; Kristin, Nicole and William Giery; Colin and Jason McGee; her great grandchildren, William, Norah & Adelynn; beloved sister to her siblings, Jack Spencer (deceased), Mitzi Puskar (deceased), William & Wayne Spencer. 

The July 21, 2022 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm visitation has been canceled at the Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church 1601 W. Mount Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736 on July 22, 2022 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow Mass.  Inurnment will be held at the Church Cemetery on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 am.
