Tammy Lynn Sweet

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Tammy Lynn Sweet, who left this world on February 23, 2026 at the age of 59. Tammy was born to late Bruce and Betty Damron in Chantilly Virginia on October 19, 1966.

Tammy shared a remarkable marriage with her beloved husband, David Sweet Sr. of 42 years, built on laughter, partnership, and unwavering love. Together they created a home filled with warmth, hospitality, and countless cherished memories.

Tammy was truly one of a kind - a firecracker in every sense of the word. She was bold, fierce, and full of life, with a spirit that could not be dimmed. She faced life head-on with strength, humor, and a fearless heart.

Tammy’s fire will never fade. Her love -and that beautiful smile-will remain with her family always.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Martin Sweet Sr; daughter, Christy Sweet (son-in-law Carlos Moscoso); and daughter, Kimberly Sweet. A proud MeMe to Mya Lynn, Lexie, Lacie, Cameron, David and Layla. Beloved Sister to Patty Brito , Beverly Kay Garner, and Thelma J Kennedy (Husband Lee Kennedy).

She was proceeded in death by her sons, David Bruce Sweet , David Martin Sweet Jr., and sister Lizzie Damron, nephew Danny Damron and brother-in-law Mark Garner.

She is survived by many family members and friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Lee funeral Home in Clinton Maryland Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 11 A.M. also at Lee Funeral Home .
