In Loving Memory of Vernon T. Goodman, Jr

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vernon T. Goodman, Jr, who passed away on June 7, 2026 at the age of 54.

Born on June 24, 1971 in Suffolk, VA, Vernon lived a life marked by love and dedication to family and friends. Vernon attended Suitland High School and later joined the Job Corps in Erie, Pennsylvania. He worked throughout the PG County community. Prior to illness, he worked at B.K. Miller for years and was very likable and known in the area. He also worked at the Washington Post for years. Vernon loved old school music and all different kinds of sports. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Vernon is survived by his parents, Vernon T. Goodman, Sr. (Yvonne) and Eva Mae Goodman; his son, Vernon T. Goodman, III; his siblings, Ronald Goodman and Angela Majette (Jevon); his nieces, Dejane' Watts, Tianna Watts, and Simone Majette. He also had a special bond with his forever step-daughter, Keneyce Bryant. He was preceded in death by special friend, Addie Wimbush. He was also loved and cared for by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather Monday, June 22, 2026, 10am - 11am at Lee Funeral Home, Inc., 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd,Clinton MD, 20735, with a funeral service to immediately follow.

Interment will be at Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf, MD, 13472 Poplar Hill Rd., Waldorf, MD 20601.

In accordance with the family wishes, there will be no repast following the Internment.
