Virginia Lorraine Cole

Virginia Lorraine (Basso) Cole, 91, of Ft. Washington, Maryland, passed away on June 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Cole. Virginia and Sam were married for over 60 years. Virginia worked for the Air Force Sergeant Association as a bookkeeper and secretary. She enjoyed watching horror movies and meeting friends at the Golden Corral for lunch. Virginia was religious and believed that people should take care of their families and do right by others. Virginia’s greatest treat the last few years was enjoying her Ben and Jerry’s chocolate ice cream on Sundays. Virginia will be laid to rest with Sam in their hometown of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
