Vittorio James Vidi

Vittorio James Vidi, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and patriotism. His military service helped shape the values he carried throughout his life, including discipline and hard work ethic.

He provided for his family working for the D.C. Metropolitan Area Transit Authority for over 40 years. Victor very much enjoyed golfing at Twin Shields Golf Club with his younger brother for many years.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Janice E. Vidi, with whom he shared many years of love and laughter, his parents Frances B. and James G. Vidi, his loving daughter Sheron Lomax, and sisters Joanna Holtzclaw and Vivian Truluck.

Vittorio is survived by his son, Vittorio, Jr., and his loving daughter Denice, as well as his brother, John Vidi and wife Rebecca, his four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
