With deep sadness we announce the passing of William "Bill" Lamm, Sr., 78, of Brandywine, MD, on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Southern Maryland Hospital's Hospice Care Unit.
Born in Washington D.C. to the late William R and Bernice Lamm on October 10, 1946. He loved farming and the outdoors, boating, fishing, riding country roads on his Harley, and especially the beaches of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
He is survived by his life time partner, Phyllis Secrist of Brandywine, MD. Sons William "Billy" Lamm, Jr. of Quitman, LA, and William "Scotty" Lamm of Brandywine. Step-daughters Teresa Boland and Angela Grieninger of Brandywine, and Patricia Stott of Huntingtown, MD. Sisters Brenda Keen of OK, and Patricia Lyons of NC. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
He farmed with his late father on several of the larger farms in Upper Marlboro, MD. Later worked for P.G. Co. Dept of Environmental Resources for 32 years. After retirement, he drove transport for Pepsi.
Bill was a kind, gentle, and loving soul with a beautiful smile that will be missed by all who knew him.
