Available Positions

Part-time Funeral Assistant

Funeral assistants ensure that our guests experience professional, courteous service at visitations, funerals, and memorial services. You will answer questions, offer solutions, and focus on creating a flawless event for the grieving family. This position is part-time and on an at-need basis, which makes it perfect for someone who prefers a non-traditional schedule. 

Responsibilities:


  • Greet and assist guests
  • Support funeral directors before, during, and after services
  • Issuing and store funeral equipment
  • Prepare locations for funeral services 
  • Operate sound systems before and during services

Full-time Licensed Funeral Director

We are looking for a funeral director who is fully committed to providing compassionate and top-quality service to families in need. As a funeral director with us, you will be involved in many aspects of the funeral service and must build trust and solid relationships with both grieving families and coworkers.

Responsibilities:


  • Communicate and consult with families
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and conduct visitations and services
  • Professionally and respectfully prepare the deceased for the service, including removal from the place of death, embalming, dressing, cosmetizing, and casketing, where applicable
  • Utilize computer systems to communicate, record vital information, enter funeral contracts, and print necessary funeral-related material

Requirements:


  • Maryland Mortician license
  • Experience with embalming and making funeral arrangements
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
