Effective immediately, Lee Funeral Homes are temporarily restricting access for all services to IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY.  Given the ongoing and developing worldwide spread of COVID-19, and in conjunction with advice from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local governments’ advice to enact social-distancing protocols, we are taking this extraordinary measure to mitigate the risk of further spreading this virus among our client families, their guests and our dedicated staff.

Important details to know regarding this temporary modification of our operations:

  1. Lee Funeral Homes is OPEN – we are here and will continue to serve your family in your time of need. Simply call us at (Clinton Office) 301-868-0900 or (Calvert Office) (301) 855-0888 and we can help.
  2. With restrictions, funeral services and the vital function that Lee Funeral Homes performs in our communities will go on as planned and will continue to be performed throughout this extraordinary period of time.
  3. Lee Funeral Homes has increased our vigilant cleaning schedules to add more frequent disinfecting of surfaces.
  4. We ask that anyone, even immediate family members, with fever (temperature above 100.4F) and/or symptoms of acute respiratory illness (congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, etc.) DO NOT enter Lee Funeral Homes properties.
  5. According to current advice from the CDC, “There is currently no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral or visitation service with the body of someone who died of COVID-19.” However, the CDC also goes on to be clear that “COVID-19 is a new disease and we are still learning how it spreads.”  Sourced 3/16/2020 at 14:30:
